About Louisa Heinrich

Louisa is a fractional CXO, consultant, speaker and coach.

Louisa has been working in the digital world almost as long as there has been such a thing. Since 1997, she and her teams have conceptualized and delivered many firsts: online banking experiences, vehicle configurators, catch-up TV and streaming services, interactive healthcare research, online tax filing, digital newspapers and more. Over the years, she has evolved the empathy-driven methods that she and others developed for Experience Design to help build better businesses - and make existing businesses work better - by bringing human considerations into balance with commercial and technological ones.

Experience has made Louisa a keen pattern spotter, a big-picture thinker and an inveterate innovator. She is collaborative, quick-thinking and adaptable, always contemplating what's next and ready to roll up her sleeves.

As Global Head of Strategy for International Service Design agency Fjord, now part of Accenture Song, she authored the company’s popular annual Trends, worked on groundbreaking and award-winning projects and re-designed the agency’s offer to propel it into the future.

Louisa has also worked with the Ford Motor Company, leading research and development of a long-term, human-centered vision for the future of Passenger Vehicles globally and co-creating processes, teams, methods and mechanisms to help the enterprise take practical steps to embed those insights and move toward the vision.

She founded her own consultancy, Superhuman Limited, in 2013 to help businesses align commercial, technology and experience aspirations to make better decisions at pace and build products, teams, processes and practices that deliver commercial and human value, because sustainable success comes from putting people first.

Alongside her consulting career, Louisa has mentored and coached designers, executives and founders in the US and Europe. She has also contributed to numerous published books and papers. Clients have included AtlasNXT, the BBC, BBVA, Bonnier, Citibank, Daimler, Eli Lilly, Ericsson, the European Commission, Ford, Founders Factory, General Motors, Nokia, Parrot Analytics, Procter & Gamble, ProSiebenSat.1, Smart Design, Tyson and United Airlines.
